Our Beer of the Month
Our current beer of the month is Lammbräu Heller Maibock. Andreas Kunz owns the small family brewery Lammbräu on the Eastern Swabian Alb. Once a year, he and his father Heinrich brew a light Maibock, just enough for their own brew inn and a few selected watering holes. Maulwurf happens to be one of them!

Our Wheat Beer of the Month
A wheat beer must be bottle-conditioned the old-fashioned way in order to become a wheat beer of the month at Maulwurf. Our current w.b.o.t.m., Unertl Spezial Weißbier, comes from the Unertl brewery in Haag in Upper Bavaria. Unertl only bews wheat beers, and this nut brown Hefeweizen with loads of yeast is a wonderfully smooth indulgence...

In adition to our choice of whiskies on the standard menu, there is always another whisky which the boss picks after her own taste. Right now it is a Glenfiddich Private Reserve cask strength. You think Glenfiddich is hardly an insider's tip? Right you are, but this particular bottling certainly is: it's reserved for bars who have been awarded the title Glenfiddich Friends by the distillery - and we are one of them...
